A few friends gathered in Janice's back yard to admire the newly stained deck and sunken patio that she and her husband worked so hard on.
Randi, Janice, Mary and Channing decided to break in the new patio by sharing a bottle of wine and celebrate the patio's completion.
We've been meeting for about 7 years now. The group has grown to include Randi, Janice, Mary, Mary Beth, Ginger, Channing, Esther, Marilisa and Sylvia. There were two others--Danielle and Emily who have since moved away but do come join the group when visiting Havertown.
Since the beginning, the group has met on front porches and back yards every Friday from May thru September. Due to "Mother Nature" not cooperating, we have met indoors a few times. We share our lives' precious moments whether they be joyous or sad. We cry together as well as cheer one another on. We are truly an eclectic group. We consist of professionals, volunteers, moms, grandmoms, we are all different but have a common bond---We are ladies that mean the world to one another. We close our season by having a nice Dinner. This is always bittersweet.
